Transmission Problem getting fixed

Transmission issues seem to come out of nowhere. It no doubt can be a stressful experience. To try and prevent a transmission problem from becoming a major repair and expense, here are the top 3 common transmission problems to be aware of:
1.Lacking Transmission Maintenance Transmission maintenance is as important as getting your routine oil change. The transmission fluid should be changed as often as your car manufacturer recommends. Old transmission fluid does not lubricate and function properly and must be regularly maintained. Transmission filter replacements should not be avoided as well. If your car is over 100,000 miles, it may be time for a new transmission filter.
2.Leaking Transmission Fluid Second, to lack maintenance, leaking transmission fluid is a very common transmission issue. Just as old transmission fluid can cause major issues, leaking/low transmission fluid can have some serious negative effects on the life of your transmission. If you spot leaking fluid from your transmission, it is best to get your car check out as soon as you can.
3.Flashing Check Engine Light Check engine lights are one the of commonly ignored car issues since they can come on for a variety of different reasons. It doesn’t always mean it is an engine problem, although it could be an issue as simple as your air conditioning or as complex as your transmission. Usually, a flashing check engine light is an alert that you have a major problem with your engine and/or your transmission. Though it doesn’t always flash to indicant a major issue, so if you have your check engine light on don’t delay in getting it checked.
